I’ve been diving into press release distribution for my local service business and wanted to get some feedback from folks who’ve used them more extensively. I’ve been reading case studies of how some press releases help businesses rank better on ChatGPT and I also want ‘as seen in’ badges to go on my website.
Here are a few I’ve been looking at:
- Press Ranger – This one seems like a really good option. They seem to offer wholesale pricing and the publishers they offer are quite good (Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, etc.) and they claim that all of their releases are indexed in ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. Has anyone here used them and can share their experience?
- GlobeNewswire – Seems like a solid network with strong distribution, but the pricing looks on the higher end. has anyone used?
- Cision / PR Newswire – Not sure if this is the more enterprise choice but a few people have suggested this. I gota quote for $1300 for a release which seems high but I guess that’s not bad if it works?
I looked at cheaper options too (EIN) but the publisher quality seems really bad. Maybe I am misunderstanding that though? Curious if anyone has experience with these three—or if there are other options I should be looking at for press release distribution (extra points if they tie into AI visibility like ChatGPT).
