Hello, HubSpot team! Hope you’re doing well.

I’d like to share some feedback and suggestions regarding the conversion rate reports in HubSpot. This type of report is critical for sales and operations teams, but I’ve noticed some limitations that make it harder to get a clear and accurate picture of our funnel performance.

Currently, the conversion rate report only shows stage-by-stage conversion. While this is useful, it does not provide the accumulated conversion rate — for example, out of 100 deals that entered the funnel, 20 were closed-won (20% conversion). Having both stage-by-stage and accumulated conversion in the same report would be extremely valuable for analysis.

Another challenge is that the report only considers deals created within the selected period. What I really need is the ability to see all deals that passed through a stage during the chosen timeframe — even if they were created earlier. For example, if a deal entered “Negotiation” in July and stayed there until mid-August, I would like it to appear in both July and August reports. This gives a much more realistic view of the opportunities that users had to work on in each period.

Beyond that, I believe there’s an opportunity to expand the usefulness of this report with features like:

More flexible filters and configurations, such as the option to view only deals that followed the funnel step by step, or all deals that touched a stage (even out of order).

Breakdowns by user or team, so that admins and managers can quickly check conversion rates per user, pipeline, and time period.

Breakdowns by product or module sold, making it easier to understand which offers have stronger or weaker funnel efficiency.

Pre-built report templates, where an admin could simply select the pipeline and timeframe, and immediately get a standard, clear visualization of funnel performance.

These improvements would make conversion rate reports much more actionable. They would help operations teams accurately track performance, identify where users are struggling in the funnel, and understand real conversion opportunities in a given period.

We currently have to build parallel solutions with custom properties, automation, and even external BI tools just to answer these questions — but it feels like something that could (and should) be native in HubSpot.

This is a critical area for many sales operations, and I believe these enhancements could add a lot of value for HubSpot users.

Looking forward to your thoughts on this!
