My goal is to have phone number links (tel:) in HubSpot open directly with my VOIP application (Zoiper 5), not the HubSpot calling popup or prompt.<\/P><P><STRONG>Setup:<\/STRONG><\/P><UL><LI>Windows 11, Chrome browser<\/LI><LI>VOIP app: Zoiper 5 (set as default for TEL links)<\/LI><\/UL><P><STRONG>Steps taken:<\/STRONG><\/P><OL><LI>Disabled \u201cPlace calls using HubSpot calling\u201d in account settings (Its auto disabled in the free plan).<\/LI><LI>Set Zoiper as the default TEL protocol handler in Windows settings.<\/LI><LI>Cleared browser cache, disabled extensions, and tried in other browsers.<\/LI><LI>Verified that tel: links outside of HubSpot open Zoiper correctly.<\/LI><\/OL><P><STRONG>Issue:<\/STRONG><BR \/>Regardless of these steps, HubSpot continues to show its own call popup when I click a phone number. The intended system\/OS handler is ignored. This directly blocks my workflow and makes the platform much less usable for my needs.<\/P><P><STRONG>Compounding issue:<\/STRONG><\/P><UL><LI>My account does not show \u201cContact us\u201d or live support options in the Help menu.<\/LI><LI>Breeze told me to emailing <a href=\"mailto:support@hubspot.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">support@hubspot.com<\/a>\u00a0but that does not work lol.<\/LI><\/UL><P><STRONG>Request:<\/STRONG><\/P><UL><LI>Has anyone solved this or found a workaround?<\/LI><LI>Can a HubSpot staff member clarify if this restriction is by design, a technical bug, or a support limitation based on account tier?<\/LI><LI>Is there another reliable channel to escalate technical account issues without access to in-app support?<\/LI><\/UL><P>Thank you for any guidance or escalation.<BR \/><BR \/><BR \/><\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello HubSpot Community\/Support,\u00a0I am currently trialling the free version before committing.I am experiencing a persistent issue with HubSpot intercepting phone number clicks, despite having disabled the HubSpot calling tool according to all published documentation.
