{"id":2402,"date":"2026-01-28T09:11:20","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T10:11:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gogetmuscle.com\/?p=2402"},"modified":"2026-01-28T17:38:25","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T17:38:25","slug":"removing-activity-of-contacts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gogetmuscle.com\/index.php\/2026\/01\/28\/removing-activity-of-contacts\/","title":{"rendered":"Removing activity of contacts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><DIV class=\"\">I\u2019m trying to understand whether HubSpot supports\u00a0suppressing or isolating tracking activity\u00a0(page views, timeline events, etc.) for\u00a0<STRONG>internal company contacts<\/STRONG>, ideally via workflows.<BR \/><STRONG>Context:<\/STRONG><BR \/>I have an internal company where I have already:\u00a0<\/DIV><UL class=\"\"><LI>Set them to <STRONG>non-marketing contacts<\/STRONG>.\u00a0<\/LI><LI>Their IP exclusion doesn&#8217;t work because everyone is all around the world.\u00a0<\/LI><LI>Lead scoring, lifecycle stages, funnels, etc., are not a concern<\/LI><LI>The goal is to prevent internal employees from polluting the tracking data or removing their activities from HubSpot.\u00a0<\/LI><\/UL><DIV class=\"\"><STRONG>What I\u2019m trying to achieve:<\/STRONG><\/DIV><UL class=\"\"><LI>Either stop page views\/timeline activity from being recorded\u00a0<STRONG>after<\/STRONG>\u00a0a contact meets certain criteria (e.g. internal domain),<\/LI><LI>OR isolate those activities so they\u2019re effectively hidden and never surface in reports, views, or normal workflows, without creating new custom properties.<\/LI><\/UL><DIV class=\"\">I understand some tracking happens at the cookie level, but I wanted to check with the community if someone has done this:<BR \/><P>Is there\u00a0any\u00a0workflow-based or native HubSpot way to suppress or fully isolate tracking\/timeline activity for specific contacts or domains?<\/P>Would really appreciate any solution around this.
