Associate Playbook Call/Meeting with Deal and Contact

My organization’s Sales team works primarily with Deals and Contacts. They have been using a playbook to log calls and meetings on open Deals when they have a call with a prospect.

When the calls and meetings are logged, they are only associated with the Deal by default. I understand that this is intended functionality from the Playbook documentation. Is there any way I can use a workflow or other functionality to automatically associate the call/meeting with the Contact record(s) as well, so they do not have to manually create the associations after every call/meeting?
