This seems very bizarre that we can update a customer/contact with the Original Traffic Source, but cannot add the hs_analytics_source_data_1 and hs_analytics_source_data_2 information as they are read-only.
Any plans to fix this or provide a workaround?

Is it possible to create a list of contacts who received the transactional email? The active list we used has changed, but I need a record of the contacts who
