I’ve been experimenting with different AI detectors recently and wanted to share my thoughts and also get feedback from others who’ve tested these tools more extensively. Here are the three that stood out to me:
Winston AI – By far the most accurate in my experience. They’ve actually published their studies and accuracy rates, which makes it feel more transparent. Honestly, it feels like the gold standard right now.
GPTZero – A solid, widely used option. Personally, I found the interface a bit clunky, but overall it does a good job.
Copyleaks – Strong feature set with a decent plagiarism checker built in. That said, I felt their AI detection could be a bit easier to bypass compared to the others.
Out of all the tools I’ve tried, these three came out on top. I know Turnitin is another big name, though it’s mostly restricted to institutions.
